Meet Precious, a patient of StreetVet.

StreetVet is a registered charity that offers free veterinary care to pets belonging to those experiencing homelessness in the UK and provides all sorts of care from major surgeries to lump inspections and vaccinations, to loving cuddles and warm coats. StreetVet continues to provide support for any registered clients for one year after they secure independent accommodation.

Precious is a bundle of happiness wrapped up in a tri-coloured collie coat. She is a fit and healthy dog who used to live on a farm before her owner found himself homeless due to ill health. Precious always greets the StreetVet volunteers at the Cornwall outreach with a wide smile and a helicopter tail, she brings joy to everyone she meets there and always leaves full after being administered her preventative treatment and given lots of tasty treats.

Thanks to StreetVet pets like Precious are able to access 24/7 medical care. 50% of the profit from every sale of a lil wabbit x StreetVet card goes to helping animals like Precious all over the UK. All pets supported by StreetVet must satisfy strict eligibility criteria. At the time of commissioning this artwork the pet featured qualified for StreetVet support.
